The Mountain View Inn

Panoramic Views

"We stayed in the Suite Sweetheart 3 nights in March 2015 and loved having a private balcony, a massive Jacuzzi with breathtaking views, a king size bed, and a fireplace in our room. The room itself is not huge, but in a way that is a good thing because it feels cozier. The panoramic views from the bedroom and den are worth every penny - I have never stayed anywhere so beautiful. The daily breakfasts were simple yet tasty. The innkeeper was hospitable and warm. I would definitely stay here again." 5 stars Thanks, Carrie Lynne Cook

A Mentone B&B

The Mountain View Inn is Mentone’s only bed and breakfast in Mentone, AL perched on the edge of Lookout Mountain. The four cozy suites provide guests with breathtaking views of three states. Every suite includes:

  • Sofa
  • Table
  • Bed
  • TV featuring DVR
  • Private bathroom

There is a kitchenette area on the main level consisting of a mini fridge, Keurig coffee pot, microwave and sink. From the common area, you have access to the large deck where can enjoy the porch swing as you marvel at the beauty of the best sunsets in Alabama. Use the charcoal grill on the deck there to cook your dinner or enjoy a fireplace in the common area and main level. A continental breakfast can be enjoyed each morning consisting of coffee, fruit, juice, muffins and guest breakfast favorites such as cheese grits and hash brown casserole. Unlike many bed and breakfasts, you can enjoy your breakfast in whatever room you like.

Due to the mountain edge location, the facility is not recommended for children of any age.  Please look at some of the larger cabins for rent that would be better suited to families with children.
