October 11 Poisonous Plants of Alabama-Little River Canyon Area This class is a brief overview of many poisonous plants in Alabama. There are many types of poisonous plants, learn how to spot them and what to do if you are affected by them. October 15 Campfire Talk: Aquatic Ecology of Little River Join us for a fun campfire talk in the great outdoors! Join JSU’s Dr. Mark Meade for an interesting program about different organisms that can be found in the watershed of Little River. Seating is limited, so bring your own comfortable camp chair if you wish. October 15-17 First Annual Alabama Thunder Bikers Festival and Concert  Come join the Fun! Live Music from Adam Tomlin Band, Jonathon Alverson & The Hillbilly Circus Band, Cool Hand Luke and more! Tickets for this 3 day event are $30 per person at the gate or $25 per person if purchased online. Event will be held at North South Cycles at 665 County Road 251 in Dogtown.
