We had the best time! Emmeline anticipated a nice cabin, but she was absolutely blown away by how quaint and charming Cupid's Hideaway was. We spent 2 days and 3 nights as relaxed as we have been in a while.

I am passing your info on to my co-workers. We have a few other Cajuns here in Tuscaloosa, working away from home, missing their wives. They asked me to give them the complete rundown. I did, and it was all positive.

We will be back, possibly in the fall!

I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at Cupids Hideaway. My husband was completely surprised. The cabin was beautiful - the pictures online do not do it justice at all! We had dinner at the Smokehouse on Friday and did not leave the cabin again for anything from 7:00 Friday night until 10:30 Sunday morning.

After 10 years of jobs, kids and "family" vacations - it was wonderful to have the time alone to reconnect. I honestly can not remember the last time my husband and I had an uninterrupted conversation for more than 10 minutes. We talked for hours!! The whole experience was absolutely amazing and just what we needed.

I have already told two of my closest friends about the how wonderful the whole experience was and I'm sure they will both be booking with you soon. We will definitely be back next year - but I am hoping it will be sooner than that.

I just wanted to send you a quick note about our weekend at Little Cupid on the Brow. We had the best time, and we just loved the cabin and the view. It was our first time to get away (with just us) and it couldn't have been better. The hot tub was a big hit too!

What a truly great place to spend our 30th wedding anniversary. What a magnificent view! Such a romantic place.

First and foremost, my husband and I would like to thank you for being able to accommodate us on our first year anniversary. We had the absolute best time! My husband is the outdoors type but I am strictly a city girl.

When we arrived, I did not know what to expect and was I ever so pleasantly surprised. Everything was absolutely beautiful. The cabin was spectacular, and all of the amenities made our stay the most romantic get-a-way we have had.

We would also like to thank you for your own personal touch; the anniversary card and Valentine's Day balloon were an especially thoughtful gesture. It was very considerate of you to remember that we were coming for our anniversary.

We haven't stopped talking about that weekend yet!! It was soooooooo peaceful and everyone we met was so kind and helpful. We had a chance to visit Desoto Falls, Sequoyah Caverns, and little river canyon on our way home. We have now discovered our new place to escape to when we need some time alone away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Hi, we stayed in cabin #1 over this past weekend. UNBELIEVABLE! It was exactly what I had wanted to impress that someone special.

I absolutely nothing but marvelous compliments to bestow on this place. It was the perfect size. I could not imagine that the fireplace put off that much heat, I kept looking for a heater control someplace in the cabin because I that there must be a heater to make the cabin that cozy. The hot tub outside was a kick… Getting in with the temperature 17 degrees outside made for some hilarious icicle hair.

It was a marvelous weekend.. I could have stayed there for a long, long time. WE WILL BE BACK! Thanks so much for making it a wonderful, wonderful get-a-way.

I just wanted to let you know what a beautiful cabin. We absolutely had the best time. The view was breathtaking even with the high winds. We even got used to the dirt road and were actually a little sad driving back down the highway today after we left because the highway did not have the bumps.

It was the most romantic getaway we have had and it was perfect for our anniversary. It gave us time to rediscover each other and realize that we did not need a phone, a TV (we actually only turned the TV on for about 10 minutes the whole weekend), or a computer to enjoy life. The hot tub was wonderful. We had a nice visit to Sequoyah Caverns and Desoto Falls and Desoto State Park.

I just wanted to thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us and we will be back.

We rented cabin 2 for Thanksgiving Holidays and it was great! I can’t tell you how many times during the Christmas Holidays I thought about being at Mentone.

My Children even said on Christmas Day, “Can we go to the cabin?”

Thanks so much for the weekend. We truly enjoyed it. It was the first time I had got to lay back and rest or watch a movie in almost 2 1/2 years due to our 2 1/2 year old. The rest was needed.

We loved the late check out time too. It was so nice to lay around and take our time packing instead of having to get up early and hurry off like you do everywhere else.

The pictures on the Internet don't do your little piece of heaven on earth justice. With the view, the wonderful cabin and all the little extras...it took our breath away.

Words cannot do justice to even the boldest explanation...We enjoyed ourselves immensely and will definitely return. The horseback riding was a great suggestion...the first ride was simply spectacular.

We enjoyed all of Desoto Park, the Falls, Sequoia caverns, and most of all we enjoyed downtown Mentone.

Thank you! We look forward to our return visit in October. We've stayed in many cabins in many different states and yours are by far the nicest, from amenities to views, and the surrounding area is very nice.
