DIRECTIONS TO MENTONE, ALABAMA

•  From: Huntsville or Decatur, AL
  Take Hwy 72 E out of Huntsville towards Scottsboro, Alabama. Take the Hwy. 35 exit at Scottsboro.
  Turn Right Go across the river; take first left on County Road 40. Stay on Co. Rd. 40 until it merges
  and becomes Alabama 117. Follow 117 all the way up Look Out Mountain into Mentone.
  
  
  
• From: Birmingham, Gadsden, or Montgomery, AL
  Take I-59 North to Exit 231 Turn right onto Alabama Highway 117. Follow 117 South all the way up
  Look Out Mountain into Mentone.
  
  
  
• From: Nashville or Chattanooga, TN
  Take I-59 South to Exit 231. Turn left onto Hwy 117. Follow 117 all the way up Look Out Mountain
  into Mentone.
  
  
  
• From: Atlanta, GA
  Take I-75 North to Exit 306. (Adairsville); Turn LEFT off ramp onto GA 140. Stay on GA 140 (toward
  Armuchee) for 7/8 miles. You will cross over GA-53 (toward Summersville) for another 7/8 miles.
  Turn RIGHT onto US-27 N / GA-1 N. Continue to follow US-27 N / GA-1 N for 13 miles. Turn LEFT
  onto .GA-48. Continue to follow GA-48 (toward Menlo) for 20 miles, noting that GA-48 becomes AL-
  117. Follow 117 to Mentone.

  OPTION 1: Coming up Look Out Mountain on 117 from I59, TURN Right on Co. Rd. 89 at the
  flashing light on the top of the mountain. Go about 5.2 miles and look for County Road 600 on the left
  (this is about ½ mile past Comer Boy Scout Camp). Driveway to cabin is just past County Road 600 on the right. Larger cabin on the brow. Look for Mentone Cabin Sign.
  
  
  
• OPTION 2: Coming up Look Out Mountain on 117 from I59 – look for a “Welcome to
  Mentone” sign: About 100 yards ahead there is a sharp turn-off to the right; it is preceded by a
  yellow upcoming intersection road sign. Carefully turn right onto this road - it is quite curvy - use
  caution. Continue until you reach the intersection at the top of the hill.
  Merge right and continue on County Road 89. Travel about 3 miles, you will pass Comer Boy Scout Camp. Drive way to cabin is just past County Road 600 on the right. Larger cabin located on the brow.
