TRIP INSURANCE
Mentone Cabins has partnered with CSA TRAVEL PROTECTION to provide you with optional important insurance coverage, benefits and 24-hour emergency assistance to take care of you while traveling and protect your hard-earned investment. This optional coverage is just 6.5% of your total trip costs. At the time you make your reservation, optional trip insurance will be included in the total cost. You may choose to opt out of this coverage if you wish. If you choose to opt out of the coverage you may call or email us to add trip insurance to your reservation (if you do so prior to your final payment, which is due 30 days prior to arrival). Pre paid gift certificates are good for any time as specified on the certificate.

• Discounts for the above ** is five percent and only one discount is applied.
• Discounts are not applied to daily rates; daily rates are considered to be a discount.
• There will be no weekday discounted rates during the holiday or festival time frames.
• Pet cleaning fees are not discounted.
• The above noted discounts** are not good during October, February or March or any holiday or Mentone area festival time frame
• If a reservation is during the time frame of October, February or March and is for an extended time frame of five days with a five percent discount up to six days, or seven days with the seventh night being free, the extended stay discounts will apply

• During the months of October, February or March
• During any noted spring break time frame
• During any holiday or Mentone area festival time frame
• Return guest discounts are applied when applicable with management approval.
RESERVATION PROCEDURES:
A major credit VALID card is necessary to secure reservation. AEX, DISC., MC, VISA. We cannot secure reservations on a card that is not valid or gives us a DO NOT HONOR CODE. We will make every effort to contact you should the card provided not process for some reason or another. However, after repeated attempts to correct the information and no corrected information are received, reservation will become void and cancel offline. We will notify you as such by email.
First night in advance on all rentals, to include first night in advance on all of multi- cabin bookings.
ALL retreats, conferences, weddings, group functions are important to us as well as single rentals, and applicable tax is due on all rental funds at check in. There may be an additional non refundable $50.00 group cleaning fee assessed to multiple bookings. Management reserves the right to access cleaning fee due to additional trash picks up needed or extra messes due to group rental/party type preparations.
Credit card will be processed for first night in advance prior to reservation acceptance. This is in fairness to all guests to have a valid monetary commitment toward booked reservation.
One night rentals can be done possibly during the week with an additional $30-50.00 housekeeping surcharge, on top of the weekend rate prior to seven percent sales tax IF available. Management has the right to discern if time frame will work for both parties. We cannot promise that a one night rental may even be an option at the time it is requested. We try to understand people's schedules; however we cannot run a business around anyone's schedules.
Two night minimum on all weekends. Should the two night booking cancel around a one night previously booked weekend rental, one night rental, (unless cabin rebooks for two nights around it) right away will be void. Should a pre booked one night weekend rental be in place, the option will be given to reserve for the open second weekend night. However, our two night minimum will be in place and the one night reservation will not be honored as a stand alone one night rental on a weekend night.
TAX of seven 7 -10 percent is applicable to all rentals.
BAD WEATHER POLICY:
Inclement weather issues, natural disasters, acts of God, all are out of our control. We are not and will not be responsible in case of bad weather is responsible for cancelled reservations.
Family related DEATH. SICKNESS, last minute unplanned OPERATIONS or other real life issues out of any one's control do happen; the down time or "real live" time a secured reservation has had online due to internet booking at reservation inception, taking it off the open availability calendar online severely limits the ability to rebook the cabin again at short notice.
We are a small business, not a huge motel/hotel chain and cancellation of any kind affect us monetarily. We are sensitive to the needs of others, however in making any decisions regarding refunds or cancellations, when it comes down to the final decision, the picture we see while making that decision is that of a family member and how it will affect them.
PET POLICY:
Pets are allowed in SOME cabins, not all of them. It is mandatory that you inform us that you wish to bring a pet. Please use the "Note" section when you are making your online reservation. A maximum of 2 pets is allowed. There is a pet fee of $50.00 required in order to help offset the additional cleaning and sanitizing of the cabin. If you do not disclose your pet at the time your reservation is made, a $200 fee will be charged to you. Evidence of a pet is by either seeing the pet, discovering pet hair, pet food, etc. in the cabin after you leave.
If you bring any pet to a "No Pet" or non-pet friendly cabin, you will not only be charged a $200 fee, you will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be given to you.
Please be respectful of others and dispose of you're your pet's "business".
The pet owner is asked to lightly sweep/shake/clean areas/floors where pet has come in contact. If pet hair is to the point where we need to wash or dry clean any linen to remove excessive pet hair an additional cleaning fee will be charged and card will be billed for that amount. Should your pet cause any damages to the property, we reserve the right to charge for damages.
If you are found violating any of the pet terms and conditions you will be charged an additional fee. Please make sure that you keep Fido in a carrier or kennel while you are away from the cabin. All dogs must be kept on leash while being walked or left outside.
